Do you ever wish there was a neater way to display all the artwork the kids create?  I know that we have suffered from this dilemna and I am excited to present one idea for how you can neatly display childrens art work which was inspired by a post on Pinterest.

I saw this on Pinterest about the time we were going to move.   It is one of several ideas for decorating a playroom found on The Nest.

Pinterest Inspiration for Art Work Display

It was put on the backburner, but saved for inspiration. Now that I’m ready to decorate our new home, I started going through my pins.

I didn’t know what font I wanted for the lettering, but saw some cute letters at Michael’s. However, I didn’t want plain white. I was thinking of a color while in the store and couldn’t decide.  Sometimes when I can’t decide, I choose more than one. In this case, I chose three – one color for each letter. Then when I went to hang them I found there wasn’t anything on the back of the letters to hang with. I didn’t want to wait any longer, so I hung them on a nail on a part of the letter that I thought might stay. The letters came out all crooked, but together I think it works. Normally I wouldn’t have done this, but stepping back I like it this way. Each child has their own clipboard to display a project they finished. They are so excited. Here is my final result.

Finished Art Display Area

My older children are twins and they decided to do a piece together (rare moment for 10-year olds) so they are sharing the artwork between their clipboards.
